Triptychon The Red mullets of Ptolemy
Triptychon The Red mullets of Ptolemy
Unikat | 120 cm x 60 cm | With frame
Red mullets usually occur in large schools densely over soft, sandy and muddy bottoms. Pisces is also one of the 48 constellations of ancient Greek astronomy, already described by Ptolemy. He was a Greek mathematician, geographer, astronomer, astrologer, music theorist and philosopher. In particular, his three works on astronomy, geography and astrology were considered standard scientific works in Europe until the early modern period.
The picture frames are personally and individually selected by the artist and professionally, conservationally sustainably custom-made by hand.
