Pisces is one of the 48 constellations that Ptolemy had already described in ancient Greek astronomy. The constellation gave the astrological zodiac sign its name. Around 2,000 years ago, the vernal equinox changed to the zodiac sign Pisces. Due to the change of the vernal equinox around Jesus' birth from Aries to the constellation of Pisces, Christians still associate fish with Christ to this day.
