Rescue of Hephaistos

Rescue of Hephaistos

Unikat | 50 cm x 40 cm | With frame

In Greek mythology, Hephaestus is the god of fire, blacksmithing and volcanoes. He was the son of Zeus and Hera, who threw him from Olympus because he was born small, ugly and screaming. He fell into the sea near the island of Lemnos and was rescued by the sea nymphs Thetis and Eurynome. He grew up with them.

The picture frames are personally and individually selected by the artist and professionally, conservationally sustainably custom-made by hand.
