Unikat | 40 cm x 50 cm | With frame

The Hydra is considered an immortal 9-headed sea monster. She is the sister of Kerberos, Chimaira and the Sphinx. Hydra is also known as a water snake, which is where its name comes from. She lives in the south of Greece, in the difficult-to-access swamps in the Argolid. If one of her heads is cut off, she grows two new ones. The head in the middle is golden and immortal.

And just as Hydra, the sea monster, is immortal, so is my great love, the island of Hydra. The work is a present to the Historical Museum of Hydra.

The picture frames are personally and individually selected by the artist and professionally, conservationally sustainably custom-made by hand.
